A complimentary benefit is not a gift balance
Rezervem Gift lets the venue issue a benefit such as an item, treat or discount. It is different from a culinary gift that a consumer buys or a stored-value balance.
Define eligibility first
Decide who receives what benefit, at which location and during which dates. Visit, spend and occasion triggers should only be used where supported and configured. Set the budget and exceptions before activation.
Configure and test
An authorized manager sets the supported trigger, benefit type and validity rule. Test issuance on a controlled guest record, use of the code under eligible conditions and prevention of inappropriate repeat redemption.
- What triggers issuance, and can it happen twice?
- Where and when is redemption valid?
- Is POS discounting a separate step?
If issuance seems unexpected
Check the source event, campaign period and whether automated rules are active. Benefit issuance and message delivery are distinct events and may require separate providers and permissions.
