Four decisions sit behind a hotel dinner booking
A dining entitlement gives an eligible hotel guest access to a service, while table availability determines whether a restaurant has capacity at that time. Rezervem Stay presents the guest booking journey; approved hotel rules and Manager make separate decisions. The hotel needs to know whether the guest is currently eligible for accommodation benefits, whether the specific restaurant is included, whether another visit is permitted and whether a table is actually free.
A positive answer to one question is not proof of the others. Show a clear explanation when the guest has an entitlement but the restaurant is full, or a table is open but the meal is not included.
Accommodation and dining rights may have different sources
The PMS may hold stay dates and package information, but properties do not all store benefits in the same place. Complimentary visits, speciality dining quotas and child rules may be separate hotel policies.
Identify who owns each rule, how a benefit is consumed and what changes when a stay is extended. A room number alone is not a complete dining entitlement record.
Restaurant booking systems should own capacity
Restaurant service plans manage tables, party sizes, meal periods and reserved capacity. Having thirty vacant hotel rooms does not create thirty available dining tables.
Likewise, twelve empty restaurant places do not mean twelve guests have the right to a complimentary meal. Keep each decision and its message separate.
Create a practical decision table
Imagine a 200-room resort with space for sixty dinner guests and one complimentary visit for a particular package. One guest may have the benefit but find the requested time fully booked; another may find an available slot but have already used the benefit. These numbers are illustrative.
Provide an alternative time or a clear paid option where permitted, instead of implying an unrestricted booking entitlement.
- Verify the stay and authorised guest.
- Confirm the restaurant is included or available as a paid option.
- Check any remaining visit allowance or repeat-booking limit.
- Verify actual availability for the party and time.
- Show the appropriate alternative or clear reason for refusal.

If the hotel sells a separate paid experience, Experience and Pay may be involved. Do not promise that all eligibility, table and payment checks are automatically enabled in every property.
