Oracle Simphony Cloud Integration: Go-Live Checklist

A practical checklist for STSG2 access, revenue-center mapping, check opening, confirmed spend, menu sync and prepayments.

Restaurant table arrangement and floor planning

Define the service workflow before the API setup

The needs of a hotel restaurant, beach outlet and single-location restaurant may differ even when they use the same POS platform. Decide whether you are connecting reservations to checks, returning closed-check spend, sourcing a QR menu or posting eligible prepayments. Each is a separate capability to test.

1. Confirm the Simphony Cloud environment

  • Verify active Simphony Cloud and STSG2 access.
  • Confirm API permissions and secure connectivity.
  • Record the organization, location, revenue center, workstation and employee references.
  • Map each Rezervem restaurant and service area to the correct revenue center.

2. Test a complete guest visit

  • Create a test reservation and assign a valid table.
  • Check in and confirm the check opens in the correct revenue center.
  • Confirm an unmapped table does not create a check in the wrong revenue center.
  • Add test items in Simphony and close the check.
  • Verify the correct Rezervem reservation receives confirmed spend, items and payment details.

3. Exercise exception cases

  • Reverse a mistaken check-in with an empty check.
  • Try the same scenario with a check that already contains items or payment.
  • Confirm a non-empty check is not deleted automatically.
  • Assign operational responsibility for warnings and follow-up.

4. Keep menu and ordering separate

If QR Order uses Simphony as its menu source, map the service station to the correct revenue center and verify product names, prices and availability. Staff must review and enable newly synchronized items before they are offered for sale.

A synchronized menu does not imply automatic posting of QR orders to Simphony checks. Validate ordering and posting independently.

5. Verify payment handling and go live

Complete a real end-to-end test with the venue team before enabling the workflow for guests. The Simphony Cloud integration overview explains the supported scope; Rezervem Manager covers reservations and tables.

  • Configure the appropriate prepayment tender if posting is required.
  • Test partial prepayments and amounts that exceed the outstanding balance.
  • Confirm the staff can identify payments that require manual reconciliation.
  • Train the host, floor and cashier teams on their separate responsibilities.
