What is a floor plan for?
A floor plan in Rezervem Manager shows the restaurant's physical table layout visually. The team can position tables with drag-and-drop and review vacant or occupied tables alongside reservations as part of daily service operations.
Before you start
Sign in using an account with permission to edit the floor plan. Check table names, seating capacities and the existing layout. Screen names may vary between application versions.
1. Open the visual floor plan
Open the floor plan or table-layout screen for the relevant restaurant in Manager. Confirm you have permission to make changes.
2. Drag tables into position
Move each table item around the visual plan so it matches the physical layout of the venue. Check that table identifiers remain correct and correspond to the names used by the team.
- Does each table match its physical location?
- Is the layout practical for staff movement and service?
- Are table names and capacities correct?
3. Check the changes
After editing, use the save or publish step available in your version and reopen the service view. Confirm the tables appear in the right places with another team member.
4. Test reservation status separately from table location
Compare occupied and vacant tables with those holding upcoming reservations. Moving a table icon in the visual layout is not the same as changing the table assigned to a guest's reservation. Verify that existing bookings still point to the correct table.
During service
Keep check-in at arrival, check-out at departure, and any table or party-size changes up to date. Do not promise a new guest a table before cleaning and preparation are complete.
