Quick answer
Run phone, website and Instagram-link reservations as one daily restaurant workflow by documenting how each booking enters the system, verifying shared availability and reviewing the service list before guests arrive. Rezervem Manager is the operational home for reservations and table capacity. Rezervem’s Instagram integration is a booking link in your profile; it does not take bookings through Instagram messages. Test where the link actually leads.
A moment during service
An hour before dinner, a host accepts a booking over the phone while another guest uses the link in the restaurant’s Instagram bio. A third booking arrives from the website. Rather than maintaining three disconnected calendars, the team needs a clear view of confirmed reservations, requests awaiting action, cancellations and changes for the same service.
1. Document the real entry path for each channel
Check whether staff enter telephone bookings manually, where the website reservation button leads and whether Instagram points to that same booking page. List connected partner sources separately. Sharing a link does not imply native technical integration with every platform. Use an actual guest journey to verify each source.
2. Check availability by date and meal
Review open days, lunch and dinner hours, party-size limits and relevant dining areas. A time offered by telephone should be consistent with the capacity shown online. Test closures, special dates and seasonal areas before using the workflow in busy service, particularly when the dining room has multiple sections.
3. Record telephone requests immediately
When a guest calls, confirm the venue, time, date and number of guests. Enter changes and cancellations in the reservation record, not in an isolated note. Ask whether the guest also booked online to reduce duplicates. Apply appropriate access controls when recording guest details.
4. Review changed and pending bookings before service
Separate requests needing confirmation from canceled bookings, changed party sizes and arrivals expected today. Decide which connected channel owns a particular change when an external partner is involved. Compare the list with the table plan and confirm the host team’s responsibilities.
5. Measure reservations without overstating attribution
Compare recorded booking sources with actual arrivals and cancellations. Do not assume every reservation came from a campaign. Rezervem Connect prepares and sends permission-based WhatsApp campaigns; Manager’s Campaigns view tracks bookings from the reservation CTA in those messages. That conversion is neither recorded revenue nor an attribution for every booking.
How we do it
We use Rezervem Manager to review bookings entered by hosts and those arriving through supported, configured links. The team checks the booking status, party size and floor capacity together. Rezervem Connect owns campaign creation and sending; Manager displays campaign summaries and reservation-CTA conversions only. We verify individual channel activation rather than assuming it works in every account.
Important limitations
- An Instagram profile link is a booking link, not native Instagram messaging or in-app booking.
- A campaign conversion tracks reservations from the CTA in Connect messages; it does not represent campaign revenue or all restaurant reservations.
