How to price Experience products across restaurant locations

Use shared Experience catalogue items with venue-specific variants, prices and permissions while keeping sales reports accurate.

The short answer

Rezervem Experience can assign one catalogue product to selected restaurant locations and apply venue-specific pricing to its variants. A central product definition does not make the item available in every restaurant. Eligibility, effective price, currency and user permissions must be checked in the selected location.

The same celebration cake may cost more to prepare at a waterfront branch than at a city-centre location. The group wants consistent product naming while leaving each kitchen and manager accountable for what can actually be provided.

Why a waterfront restaurant may charge a different price

A guest calls the wrong branch after seeing the same product name online. One team can prepare the cake and the other cannot. The useful operational answer is to check branch availability before quoting any price, not to assume that a shared product implies identical service.

Duplicate product records can make group reporting inconsistent, while overly broad permissions allow staff to change prices or tax settings outside their remit. Product assignment and reservation timing are also distinct filters.

Five checks before pricing one item across venues

Work through the sale, service and financial records in that order rather than assuming one record confirms the next.

  • Identify which venues can deliver the actual service.
  • Compare the base variant price with each venue's price override.
  • Check currency, tax, active status and the applicable sales channel.
  • Test product editing and pricing permissions with different staff roles.
  • Compare sample orders and collections within the same venue context.

How Experience determines the effective branch price

Rezervem Experience holds central catalogue definitions, restaurant assignments and effective prices. Pricing and tax editing can be permissioned separately. Rezervem Manager owns the reservation context and tables; reports must not double-count an Experience order and the related payment request.

When an effective price changes, historical orders should still be examined using their stored sale-time values. Always verify account access, venue assignments and the exact channel before presenting prices to guests.
