One guest can evaluate two different experiences
A hotel stay includes room readiness, reception, cleaning, dining and overall comfort. A restaurant review covers a specific meal, service and atmosphere; these are not interchangeable measures even if one guest submits both.
A guest may praise dinner while rating the room poorly because of noise. Treating the combined score as dining performance could direct the wrong team to solve the problem.
Begin with the decision you need to make
Ask which department or service needs to improve. Use concise questions about experiences staff can affect, rather than adding dozens of questions that produce ambiguous averages.
Keep scoring scales consistent. Allow optional context for negative ratings, while ensuring an unneeded long comment box does not prevent a guest from submitting useful feedback.
Survey timing and communication consent are separate
A post-stay survey may be offered after departure, but the channel and lawful processing basis must be decided for the hotel's actual configuration. Seeking service feedback and sending direct marketing are different purposes.
Choose a reasonable reminder policy and retention period. Anonymous feedback and personally attributed complaints may require different identity and access controls.
Compare results in their proper context
A restaurant with 200 responses and one with 12 cannot be ranked fairly by average score alone. Include sample size, dates, service period and outlet alongside the metric.
Review recurring issues, accountable departments, actions and follow-up dates in a management meeting. The goal is to improve a service, not simply produce another scorecard.
Use the correct denominator: restaurant feedback should relate to dining visits and hotel feedback to eligible stays. A person with three dining visits during one hotel stay does not create four separate hotel stays in the data.
How does Rezervem keep the measurements distinct
Rezervem Manager supports restaurant-specific evaluation associated with a dining visit. The hotel guest application also contains restaurant review conditions. Stay's broader hotel feedback journey is a separate target whose sending automation and reporting require property-specific verification.
Use Stay for the hotel journey and Manager for dining operations. The post-stay survey guide is currently available in Turkish.
