The short answer
Rezervem Experience manages paid extra services and their order records. Gift deals with complimentary benefits, Join supports QR guest profile registration, and Connect handles communication subject to the appropriate permissions. These activities may involve the same guest, but they should never be treated as one automatic commercial transaction.
Consider a guest who signs up through Join, receives a welcome treat with Gift and later buys a celebration cake as an Experience product. The restaurant may want to invite that person to a tasting event through Connect. Registration, a gift, a purchase and marketing permission each have their own purpose.
A QR registration, a free treat and a paid cake
A familiar guest is welcomed with a free birthday dessert and buys a separate paid package. The attentive service looks seamless from the guest's side. Behind the scenes, one item belongs to a promotional entitlement and the other to a real order with a possible payment.
A QR profile does not automatically grant permission for marketing. A Gift entitlement is not paid revenue, and a message sent by Connect does not prove a purchase. Treating these actions as interchangeable can damage trust and distort reporting.
Five checks for purchase rights, gifts and permissions
Follow the operational, financial and guest-facing details as separate checks so that no stage is assumed to be complete.
- Record QR guest profiles, paid orders and promotional entitlements separately.
- Review the information notice and permissions collected during Join registration.
- Identify whether a code represents Gift or an Experience order.
- Confirm communication eligibility before sending a Connect campaign.
- Report paid sales, gift use, registration and campaign outcomes distinctly.
Distinct responsibilities across Experience, Gift, Join and Connect
Experience is responsible for product sales and order details; Gift for promotional rights; Join for guest profiles and relevant consent flows; Connect for authorised communication. The products can complement each other but the existence of one record does not imply that every other product has been triggered.
The restaurant needs a lawful basis and the relevant commercial-message permissions for each communication purpose. A later visit cannot automatically be attributed to a gift or campaign just because it followed that interaction. Measure the outcomes without claiming unsupported causal links.
