Plan the room-service pilot before printing codes
Start by selecting which rooms, opening hours and products will be included in the first pilot. Rezervem QR Order provides browser-based guest ordering and a separate QR Order Management mobile app for staff. Confirm room/stay verification, location mapping and service hours before inviting guests to order.
A room-service setup and acceptance checklist
- Create the room-service station and assign a responsible team.
- Link each room to the supported QR ordering point and check the resulting location.
- Test stay and room validation using an active, expired and incorrect stay.
- Verify menu choices, relevant allergens, prices and available translations.
- Set local service hours and date exceptions; test the opening and closing boundaries.
- Ensure staff select the right station and have the appropriate order permissions.
- Test acceptance, preparation, status updates and any configured kitchen or bar printers.
- Verify any Simphony catalogue-to-RVC mapping separately from check posting.
- If room-folio charges are required, validate that separately with the supported PMS and payment integration.
Evaluate the pilot before expanding
Run the trial on one floor or a few rooms, including wrong-room credentials, a closed station, a disconnected printer and missing menu options. A successful browser order is only the beginning; the team must identify its destination and deliver it correctly.
Rezervem QR Order connects guest ordering and staff stations. See the hotel and beach QR setup guide for the wider venue checklist.
