Compare the same request across channels
A restaurant may have an empty table at 8 pm while its online booking page offers no 8 pm slot. Physical capacity and online acceptance rules are not necessarily identical. Start with the same date, venue, party size and booking channel.
Check the rules behind the slot
In the authorized Manager setup, verify the operating day, meal period, bookable times, online allocation and party-size limits as separate controls.
- Is it a one-off date or a recurring weekday?
- Does the service period accept this party size and time?
- Is the online allocation different from the overall room capacity?
Separate room and channel conditions
An outdoor area may have availability that the main dining room does not. Google and your own booking page can also use different channel paths. A booking link that redirects guests is not the same as a reservation completed within Google.
Retest one change at a time
Adjust the specific rule, then search as a guest in a fresh session and compare party sizes. If the slot remains unavailable, provide support with the venue, date, service period, party size and channel. Avoid opening all capacity just to make the symptom disappear.
