One hotel, several distinct dining operations
A hotel may run a breakfast venue, an à la carte restaurant and a beach service area on the same Simphony estate. They can still use separate revenue centres, tables and service teams. Knowing the POS brand does not identify the correct check.
Oracle's STS Gen2 organisation and checks structure identifies organisations, locations and revenue centres as separate contexts.
Map the exact outlet
Connect the Rezervem restaurant or service area to its corresponding Simphony location and revenue centre, then validate table, workstation and staff references as needed. For example, table 12 in the beach area is not necessarily table 12 in the restaurant.
A mapping based on a table number alone creates avoidable errors when the same number exists in multiple areas.
Test the boundaries, not just the happy path
Open one reservation-linked check in outlet A and confirm its revenue centre. Repeat in outlet B, then test an unmapped table and a duplicate check-in. Confirm that the correct reservation receives the supported closed-check details.
Do not infer hotel-wide guest spend synchronisation from a successful connection in one restaurant.
Two tables with the same number
Imagine table 12 at the beach outlet and table 12 in the hotel's main restaurant. They are separate service contexts, even if staff use the same number. Opening a check in the wrong revenue centre could send the transaction to the wrong outlet. Verify the location and RVC alongside table mapping.
Pilot one reservation in each outlet. Confirm that the correct check opens, another outlet is unaffected, and supported closed-check data returns to the intended reservation. A successful restaurant test does not prove hotel-wide guest spend synchronisation.
Rezervem's role
Rezervem Manager manages reservations and tables. The existing Simphony Cloud STS Gen2 integration connects supported workflows where licensing, permissions and mappings are in place. Apply the go-live checklist separately to each outlet.
