A booking link is not the same as booking inside Google
A guest finds your restaurant on Google Maps and wants to book. In one model, they follow a link to your booking page. In another, they choose the time and complete the reservation within Google's interface. Both may begin with the same business listing, but they are operationally different.
Rezervem already supports an active Google Maps booking channel for eligible restaurants. The separate direct technical integration being built by Rezervem is approaching completion; guests do not need to wait for that project to book through the current supported channel.
How the existing booking link works
The venue's Google Business Profile offers a supported booking link. The guest follows that link and completes the booking in Rezervem's reservation flow. Manager then handles the booking according to the configured availability and service rules.
Before promoting the link, verify that the correct Google location and the appropriate Rezervem venue are associated. Complete a test reservation and check where it appears.
What is different about End-to-End?
With End-to-End, eligible guests choose the date, time and party size and complete a reservation in Google's own interface. Rezervem supports that active booking experience for enabled restaurants. A Business Link instead takes the guest to a separate booking page.
Rezervem's own direct Google integration is still being finalized, independently of the active End-to-End booking channel. Availability on a specific Google Business Profile must be enabled and tested for that venue.
A short implementation checklist
Rezervem Manager remains the venue's reservation operations hub. Learn about it on the Manager product page and see the scope of other connections on Integrations.
- Confirm which model is being offered for the venue.
- Verify the Google profile and location.
- Set booking days, meal periods, opening hours and party-size limits in Rezervem Manager.
- Test a real booking from the eligible profile or link.
- Review the operational owner of booking changes and cancellations.
