Separate calculation, collection and payout
Rezervem Guest Network supports per-person, fixed-per-booking and percentage-based partner commissions. For a restaurant, calculating a commission, collecting it through the configured payment process and paying it to the partner are separate financial events.
For example, if four guests are seated and the agreed illustrative rate is TRY 150 per guest, the calculated amount is TRY 600. That arithmetic does not establish that a collection succeeded or that the partner received a payout. The amount is an example, not a published Rezervem price.
1. Match the rule to the commercial agreement
Confirm the partner and participating venue, then determine whether the agreement uses a per-person amount, a fixed charge per booking or a percentage of an eligible bill. The underlying rules can be scoped by restaurant, date range, weekday and priority.
Keep past periods distinct when a rate changes. A commercial agreement and the actual rule effective at the time of service need to be reconciled together.
2. Distinguish the booking, visit and bill
A requested reservation is not the same as a seated guest. Per-person and fixed-booking calculations can be associated with the relevant arrival or check-in event, whereas percentage calculations require the qualifying bill amount.
A restaurant may have received the guest before the final bill arrives in the connected data. Treat a missing bill amount as unresolved rather than inventing a final percentage commission.
3. Read the collection status separately
The Guest Network implementation includes a commission ledger, collection status and payment method records. A calculated ledger entry and a successful payment collection should appear as different stages when the finance team reconciles the period.
Check whether scheduled collection is enabled and commercially agreed for the specific restaurant account. Pending, failed and collected amounts should not be combined into a single paid total.
4. Confirm the partner payout stage
Partner payout records follow their own period and configuration conditions. Collected amounts can be eligible for payout processing, but eligibility is not proof that a transfer to the partner has been completed.
A useful reconciliation line records referral source, confirmed booking, seated count, applicable rule, commission value, collection state and payout state. This helps restaurant and finance teams resolve mismatches without double counting.
5. Reconcile a small pilot first
Start with one restaurant, one partner and a short period. Review individual records before comparing broader partner performance.
- Find the agreement and effective commission rule.
- Verify the booking and seating or check-in outcome.
- For percentage rules, confirm the qualifying bill amount.
- Check the commission ledger and collection result separately.
- Match the partner payout record to the relevant period.
How Rezervem supports the workflow
Guest Network links the partner relationship to the restaurant referral. Rezervem Manager supports venue-side reservation operations; authorised external integrations use the scoped Partner API.
Before launching a new channel, review restaurant onboarding and partner booking acceptance rules.
FAQ: Does every partner referral create a commission?
No. The applicable commercial rule, booking or attendance event and any required bill data determine the commission entry.
FAQ: Are collection and payout the same transaction?
No. Collection from the restaurant and payout to the partner have separate records, conditions and timing.
FAQ: When is a percentage commission final?
It can be calculated once the required eligible bill amount is available to the relevant process. Delayed bill data may delay the ledger entry.
