Saved contacts are not the sendable audience
A restaurant with 1,000 saved guests cannot assume it may send 1,000 WhatsApp marketing messages. Campaign eligibility also considers the audience rule, a valid phone number, permission and suppression or opt-out records.
Check the source of the audience
Identify whether the contact came from a manual list, a dynamic segment or a Join registration. Confirm the relevant venue and segment criteria. Two records sharing one phone number may be reduced to a single recipient.
Review permissions for the specific path
Completing a QR form is not the same as agreeing to every type of marketing communication. Linked Join and independent Connect registration paths may have different consent handling. Opt-outs, IYS eligibility and WhatsApp marketing-stop preferences can exclude a guest.
- Is the phone valid in international format?
- Does the guest meet the segment and venue conditions?
- What is the current consent and opt-out status?
Do not override suppression to fill the list
Never recreate permission or add someone back simply to increase campaign reach. If the exclusion reason is unclear, ask authorized support to inspect campaign-level evidence while minimising personal data shared.
