What should a Join QR open?
Join is a browser-based guest-registration flow. A menu link or QR Order page serves a different purpose; scanning the wrong code may look like an outage.
Test the destination safely
Open the printed code on a staff device using mobile data. Check the entire URL, venue identity and whether the code belongs to the right table or area.
- Does it lead to the intended venue?
- Is the link complete and still valid?
- Was an ordering QR printed instead?
Keep guest information in the approved flow
Do not ask guests to send personal details, marketing consent evidence or verification codes to a staff member’s personal account while troubleshooting.
Keep service moving
A registration-form issue does not automatically invalidate a table reservation. Offer the venue’s regular welcome process while the configuration is checked.
